60 Second Film Competition
Whiskey Creek Film Festival announces the “60 Second Film Competition.” Today, nearly everyone has the tools in the form of a smart phone or digital camera to make movies – and you could win one of four $250 awards. And your movie will be screened at this year’s Festival, September 13-19.
We are asking you to put technology that you have in your pocket to work with your creativity and imagine Wadena after the Highway 10 reconstruction. Submission deadline is September 9, 2019.
The intersection with Highway 71 already looks vastly different. The view of the Depot and downtown is amazing. Make your 60 second film about these changes. It can be animated or live or a collage of still images.

You can stop in at the Depot to play with ideas for new green spaces in Wadena with the Crossroads Wadena project presented by Kent Scheer Tuesday-Saturday from noon to 5:00pm through the month of August.
